Privacy policy
What this site stores about visitors: as little as possible.
What we collect
This site runs no advertising and one analytics script: Google Analytics (gtag.js), used only to count page views and traffic sources.
- • Google Analytics. Loads from googletagmanager.com after the page renders and reports aggregate usage to Google. Block it with any content blocker or by disabling JavaScript - the site works fully without it. See Google's own privacy documentation for what they retain.
- • No accounts. There is no sign-up, so there is no user database.
- • No cookies are set for tracking by us. A single cookie is used only for the administrative interface, and only after an administrator signs in. Google Analytics may set its own cookies - see above.
- • Server logs are kept for operational purposes (error diagnosis, abuse and rate-limit enforcement) and are not used to profile visitors.
- • Search queries are not stored in the database. Searching runs a database query and returns a result page.
Email sent to the editorial address is retained only to reply to the sender.
Email notifications & subscriber data
When you subscribe to job disruption alerts on an occupation page, we collect and store your email address along with the requested occupation slug.
- • What we collect: Your email address and the occupation slug you selected for updates.
- • Why we collect it: Solely to deliver notifications when new frontier AI capabilities, models, or benchmark changes impact that occupation's exposure profile. We do not send marketing spam or unrelated newsletters.
- • Retention: Your subscription record is retained until you request removal or unsubscribe. We do not sell, rent, or distribute email addresses to any third parties or advertisers.
- • How to be removed: You can unsubscribe or request immediate permanent deletion of your email record at any time by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Unsubscribe”. Your address will be promptly purged from our database.

Pages link to external sources such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics, arXiv, provider announcement pages and O*NET. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this site does not control them. Outbound links to third-party content are marked rel="noopener noreferrer".
